Sustained Engagement through Education and Training

CDHAM, a part of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), implements comprehensive educational programs leveraging National Capacity in Disaster Management and Pandemic/health emergency crisis response for both civil and military authorities.

National Capacity

CDHAM works with Pandemic Response Program (PRP) Partner Nations to assess and develop their educational capacities in disaster planning and preparedness and disaster management.

Regional Capacity

At the regional level, CDHAM works in collaboration with the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) in Ghana and the International Peace Support Training Centre (IPSTC) in Kenya to enhance curriculum in support of military preparedness and response.

Consortium of Universities and Centers

CDHAM coordinates with a consortium of universities and centers to develop and administer courses in disaster management and health emergencies.
